Gabbi's Mexican Kitchen

We literally stumbled into this place while shopping for antiques nearby. We were just looking for something to eat and the menu looked interesting. This place takes a very unique spin on Mexican food. I don't even like using Mexican to try to describe the food. Think, south or central American. Maybe Aztec or native influences here? The food is AMAZING! The flavors...Oh. My. God! We're from the Seattle area so, chances are slim that we'll make it back. But, we have told everyone we know about this place, this experience, this food. Really cool post modern yet laid back vibe and a nice bar too. Highly recommend this place!

Food was good, service was a bit lack luster. I would go back if asked to by my fiancee, a friend or colleague. I would not put it at the top of my list though.

I think it's rather difficult to "butcher" Mexican food... this place does. I understand that "we eat with our eyes" but we taste with our palates. Wouldn't recommend this place

After hearing how great this place is, my husband and I decided to celebrate our anniversary here. The shrimp empanadas were damn good. The churros and ice cream were worth eating even after feeling full from the appetizer and entree. Another plus was the great customer service we received.

The food was superb! The server was very helpful with his recommendations in regards to wine and taste of certain dishes. The Fish of the day with a spicy chorizo sauce was the bomb!! Deeee-licious!! Highly recommend it

Gabbi's is one of the places my family goes when we want an all-around great experience. The food and drinks are amazing. The ambiance is great. Definitely the perfect place to go for a classy mexican dinner with a twist.

Fantastic food, phenomenal housemade corn tortillas, friendly service, and cozy environment. Seriously, even if you don't like corn tortillas, try theirs. It might change your mind. It's a bit pricy for how much food you get, but for a gourmet experience, it's pretty worth it!

Great menu and service. My current favorite Mexican Restaurant in Orange. It's a wonderful place to take guests. It does get crowded during lunch hours but its worth the wait. Order a side of their mexican corn...delicious!

The foods here in this restaurant are really the best! Not only they look good but taste good as well. These guys really did a great job, and I would like to thank them for the great foods and exceptional service that they provided. I will surely recommend this restaurant to everyone! Very worth it!

The mantra of the restaurant is Tacos & Tequila and of you know me, I love me a margarita, on the rocks, frozen, flavored, house.. I do not discriminate but we were going to a kindergarten curriculum night and I ordered an Ice Tea, next time, it's on! I truthfully, can't wait to return. Everything on the menu seems like the right choice so beware, you might just order everything.

This place is AMAZING my friend took my for my birthday dinner and it was both of our first time coming here. The food was great really good and delicious. Side note for those of you like big plates this is not the place for you the portions are actually the correct way of eating they are on the smaller side. We ordered an appetizer which we both shared and had leftovers. We each ordered a meal and it was very fulfilling because of the appetizer we had just had. We actually had dessert as well and we shared that too. And it was just the perfect amount of food. The waiter was super friendly and the atmosphere was just great. I definitely recommend this place specially for a date night. I'm definitely coming back here.

Love their food, but be prepared to have a take home box. They have very large portions! The food is delicious!

I want to give this restaurant a 5 star rating. But I can’t. Though it was deserved and I would have done so on my own, I didn’t like the fact they took the liberty (without notice) of writing in a 20% tip, then added a “kitchen assistance” fee. Just not becoming of a real 5 Star restaurant and all that left a bad taste in my mouth as if I was getting squeezed a bit. The margaritas were also watered down noticeably. Having said that, we had a good time and the food was excellent.

I sincerely enjoy the foods here, and I'm thankful for their servers because they were able to perform their job incredibly. The foods that I ordered was really delicious and kudos to the chef who made it. It was indeed that best restaurant that I have ever tried! I highly recommend it to everyone!

This place is inexpensive and the quality is outstanding. The only complaints I have is that the person dealing with phone orders has a hard time taking down orders. I ordered 2 steak tacos but they put me down for 6. I didnt complain since I was in a hurry plus I was able to share my food. The other is that the barbacoa burrito was stuffed with too much meat.

Hands down, one of my favorite Mexican restaurants! It’s fancier than your typical spot but they do it in an amazing way! Everything’s great here. Service, ambience and of course the food! High quality that’s for sure. It’s best to share so that you can try several dishes. Try to make reservations because it can get pretty busy. A stand out item on the menu is their green pozole! It’s spectacular! I want to come back soon to try other items on the menu. They also have a bar and their adult beverages look fabulous ... I’m definitely indulging in next time!

Gabbi's is in a really cute area in Orange. I loved the location and they had a great little patio. The service was also pretty good and I loved their House Margaritas.I had the Chicken Enchiladas and the tomatillo sauce was really good. The enchiladas were also really good but definitely not the best I have ever had.

A must go. Food was delicious and prices are reasonable. Excellent customer service, from the hostesses to the waiters, didnt meet chef but he/she cooks exquisite. I am not a fan of dining at Mexican restaurants (because most dishes taste can made), but I definitely recommend this restaurant (their food is almost as good as mine 😉)

A five-stars satisfaction rating for this ideal restaurant. The servers are very friendly and attentive to all of my requests. Try their services and you won’t regret it for sure. It was a nice experience for me for the first time. A very genuine music selection and delicious foods. The best of the best place to eat. Thumbs up!

This place was a nice place to do vacation trips and chill out. They did work with seafood well and the place was very quaint. I really felt comfortable compared to other places. It was a nice experience for me for the first time. Trust me! You will never be disappointed for sure! Thank you so much to all of you.

Excellent vibe and friendly staff.. Loved the Cauliflower dish but the veggie tacos felt a bit dry.. I would choose the house Margarita over the skinny option..

Great food and they made vegetarian easy which is hard to do with Mexican. The cauliflower tacos were cooked well and spiced even better and went well with the house margarita.

We had dinner with girlfriends here last night. The menu was perfect. The staff was very kind to us. It was Jason who served us. We really liked the service for it was awesome. We will back here soon because we really enjoyed our dinner. We got home very full! Thank you so much! We will be recommending this place.

First time. A great place for dinner food was excellent. Fun friendly atmosphere great time, They had great service and make sure we were well fed and happy!

Trendy location and decor. Noisy and somewhat cramped. GREAT SERVICE. Menu just ok. Respect the owners goal for authentic colonial Mexican food, but nearly everything on menu is either fried or has meat...if you're trying to eat a healthier diet, skip this place.
